How the competition works

Attend the Information Session
Attendance is required for eligibility. Students learn about the registration process, hear from all the journals’ Editors-in-Chief or Managing Editors, and receive tips on how to prepare.

Complete the Technical Edits
Students perform technical edits on an unpublished piece of writing to demonstrate their mastery of grammar and Bluebook rules.
03
Write the Case Comment
Students showcase their writing skills through a case comment that describes, analyzes, and critiques a court’s decision.
